Kaiyi is officially here, adding a new spark to the local electric vehicle scene. Their mission is simple: make EVs genuinely accessible to the everyday driver. As a partially owned subsidiary of the Chery Group, Kaiyi gets the best of both worlds, access to Chery’s deep R&D expertise while keeping the flexibility to stay tuned in to what consumers actually want. That combination gives the brand real potential in a market like ours.
They’re launching with two models, the EX3 Pro EV SUV and the compact e-Qute 04, both offering driving ranges that comfortably suit our daily routines. The flagship EX3 Pro EV leads the way with an impressive 400 km range, paired with a 120kW electric motor capable of 0–50 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. It’s quick, efficient, and built for real-world use.
On top of that, Kaiyi is backing their vehicles with solid warranty coverage:
• 8 years / 160,000 km on the battery
• 5 years / 150,000 km on the vehicle

As our automotive landscape continues its shift toward electric mobility, Kaiyi is definitely a name worth keeping an eye on.
